going to try to keep this blog as succinct as possible. not in a rambling mood today, strangely enough. but bet this is gonna turn out to be a babbling blog once again.

so, woke up around noon saturday and got ready to go to davis. actually went to do a little shopping at stoneridge with deb and ha first since deb wanted to go shopping and stoneridge was on the way to davis. surprisingly didn't buy anything for myself. or for anyone else for that matter, though i *did* look. really wanted to get something for my secret santa here, but...looked at the price tag and realized it was out of the budget. :( anyway, around 530, left for davis. fell asleep a little bit on the drive, but ha completely konked out. go to davis a little before 7. went to jo's apartment. got to see it for the first time. geeeeez, hecka nice!! made me semi-jealous. had evil thoughts of trashing the place. ;) just kidding. really thought it was super nice. liked it a lot. :)

let's see...oh, so jo got dressed and we went to a thai place to eat dinner. it was pretty good. deb and ha chose what we'd eat since me and jo are clueless. they did a good job, thank you. :) dinner was pretty funny. jo came to a realization that no one understands her when she talks. =D just kidding. she just said a few words funny. for example, she was talking about this beauty book that her roommate got her for christmas and, i swear, me and deb both heard her say "booty book" instead of "beauty book." it was hilarious. me and deb were confused for a little while, although i was confused longer. what can i say, i'm dense. and when jo was describing this other thai restaurant in davis, she was just speaking really fast and ended up saying "it's ghetto homey" which just sounded so funny. [she meant to say it's ghetto BUT homey; no, she did not mean to refer to *me* as her homie]

anyway, that was dinner. then we went to some place across the way to get pearl milk tea. well, jo and ha did. deb didn't feel like any, and i just plain don't like it. [*gasp of horror from all asians everywhere*] we sat there and talked for a while. then we went back to jo's place and just lay there. for like, a long time. none of us felt like going anywhere, but well, people started wondering where we were when we didn't show up at dylan's place for his birthday party when it started at like 930 and we were still lying there around like 1030. and then alex called jo and said he needed a ride to dylan's place. it was funny, when jo was talking on the phone with him, she was telling him who was with her and after she said, "debra, christina, and cherry," she paused and then said to him, "CHERRY. CHERRY!!! you know, the little vietnamese girl?!?!" ahhh, that made me feel so good. but it turned out he just didn't hear joanna properly and thought she said like, "terry" or something. at least, that's what he said. anyway, yeah, so we all piled into deb's car, went to go pick up alex, then went to dylan's. it was pretty fun. really nice seeing everyone. :)

stayed until around 2 or 230 when me and jo started getting super tired. so me and jo headed back to her place first and just talked about a lot of random stuff. ranted about our favorite rant topics. ha, deb, and david came along later. but me, jo, and ha stayed in jo's room just like talking till like 6 am or something. ranting here and there, but just randomly talking. so yeah, around 6 am, jo was like, "you guys? i'm tired. let's sleep." and me and said, "okay" and went to sleep. :) didn't wake up till like 145 pm today when deb came into the room and was like, "i'm hungry." actually, it was pretty funny, i woke up before that when deb and anthony came into the room and he took a picture of ha asleep. it was so random. i just poked my head out of my sleeping bag, saw both of them, and just plopped my head on the pillow and slithered back into my sleeping bag. but yeah, i fell back asleep after that until deb came in later. we all gradually woke up, got ready, and went out to eat breakfast/lunch/dinner/whatever. by the time we finished it was like, 430 or something. deb, anthony, and alex drove back to berkeley from there while me, jo, and ha went back to jo's place so she could pack. i think we finally left davis around, oh...6 or 630 or something, i'm not too sure. got back to fremont a little before 8.

soooo, yeah...that was my weekend. :) i'm tired, but i had lots of fun. i really liked it. thanks deb for driving us up to davis. thanks jo for hosting us and letting us stay at your place. thanks dylan for inviting me. aaaand...thanks everyone else for i don't know. just thanks. :) ooh!! pictures from last night! time to go look, bye!!
