today - not a good day. definitely woke up on the wrong side of the bed. i woke up with a bloody nose for no reason whatsoever. luckily, no blood on pillows, sheets, or comforter. managed to run to bathroom and stop the nosebleed (with a technique i learned from gi joes - the cartoon!!). this was about twenty minutes before my alarm was supposed to go off, so i just trudged back to bed and lay there. juuuust as i was getting all comfortable, my alarm goes off. so i got up, got dressed, went to class, blah blah blah. anyway, came back and crammed a bit for my vietnamese vocab quiz which, btw, was not all that fun. it was easy to give the vietnamese equivalent to the english words, but i just had major problems translating and forming sentences. the teacher keeps saying that our grades are based on how much we improve and, well, i'm not improving, so....yeah. anyway, while i was in the apartment, i took off my boots and put on my flip flops because it was getting warmer. so when it's about time, i leave for vietnamese and i'm walking and walking and walking and then my right foot steps on this branch on the ground which promptly pops up and scrapes my left foot hard enough that my foot is now bleeding. at first, i just said "ow" very loudly and kept walking but when i could feel the blood pooling enough to soil the cuff leg of my jeans, i turned back. went back into the apartment, bandaged my foot, and left AGAIN. grrr..i was not happy by then. luckily i wasn't late to class. but because i was later than usual, i was forced to sit next to the fobs. ugh. someone shoot them for me please.

anyway, my vietnamese teacher let us out like five minutes early which was enough to make me somewhat less pissy. walked back to the apartment and....blah blah blah. well, here's something interesting: i've joined the feminist majority leadership alliance; i went to my first meeting tonight. it's affiliated with the feminist majority foundation. it was REALLY interesting. i learned so much!! i felt sort of intimidated though, not just because i'm new, but also because they all seemed to know so much about...stuff. like, different stuff. i'm so unintelligent i can't even describe what they were talking about. anyway, it was really cool - learned lots of interesting things today. many new wrinkles in brain for cherry. oh, and you know what else was weird? i saw a girl from high school there. her name is liz...dunno if anyone remembers her. i don't know remember her last name, but she was in my english class senior year. i don't think she knew who i was or remembered me till i introduced myself though. but that's cool...i was one of those people in high school who knew most people but no one ever knew who i was. oh well.

anyway...day started off crappy. continued to be crappy for a while. but now it's...so-so. must go do homework now. bye.
