just got back from dinner and comedy club with lots of fun people. it was like one of the building events (building as in our apartment building) so it was like, our ra (carlos), sanaz, melissa, helen, grace, ben, matt, mike, jon and a few other people from our building and a few of carlos's friends. we went to dinner at pickup stix which really was just...not good. although i did go in knowing that a lot of people didn't like pick up stix so...that might have had something to do with it. but oh well. afterwards, we went to the comedy club and oh boy was that fun FUN FUN. of course, it always is. ;D and man, was i on fire!! throwing out like a bazillion suggestions...flirtatious, trampoline, toes, a professor, italy, new hampshire, desk, and some other stuff i can't remember.

and...here's the kicker: I VOLUNTEERED. see, the thing is, i've been extremely hyper and energetic and just plain HAPPY tonight. like...crazy happy. i don't know what it is. and so at dinner, i told ben and sanaz that if they were gonna take volunteers at the comedy club, i'd volunteer. although when they asked for a volunteer the first time, i didn't. see, i really didn't wanna do it. it was like, this sound effects game, you know, like the same one on whose line where an audience member makes all the sound effects. i really don't like that game. i mean, i know all of two sound effects: "BAM" and "WHAP" and i don't even know what a whap is. anyway, they asked for a volunteer in the second half for the game of...ANIMATRONIC JAMBOREE!!!. i know all you norcal girls know that game - it was the cinderella one, remember?? yeah, anyway, me and this other guy in the audience volunteered for the game. and like, all the players were involved. and we reenacted the civil war, more specifically, the surrender of the civil war. and they made me robert e. lee. i didn't even know who robert e. lee was. i had to ask one of the players, and she told me. the players were all very very nice, cool people. so we went backstage and they put this funny hat on me and we went out and played. basically, i just went up to the other volunteer guy and we pretended to punch each other...like, repeatedly. and then i turned around and waved the white flag - one of the other players. while i was waving his arms, he was like, "you're doing good! you're doing good!" it was fun. ;D and i got two free tickets!! it was funny cuz when i was standing onstage waiting for the ref to pick another volunteer, i looked at helen and she pointed to me and then her ass and then gave me a thumbs up. yup, i was wearing my ass jeans - the jeans that make my ass look REAL GOOD! oh, and poor poor poor matt. the ref was making fun of him so much. but...it was funny!! i mean, all of us were totally cracking up. i know it was mean, but...you just had to be there. it was just hilarious.

aw shit...i just got melted chocolate popsicle on my ass jeans. :( oh well, i'm gonna do my laundry tomorrow. anyway, mucho fun night!! i feel CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!
