ohhh...owwww...

i'm sore...EVERYWHERE. well, especially in my right butt cheek region. i landed on that side pretty hard. from snowboarding, that is. went today! it was pretty fun after i stopped being frustrated and irritated by my own incompetence as well as other things. but i did get a bit better. hurrah!

the sad thing is...the VERY sad thing is that the majority of my spills came from trying to get off the ski lifts. it's just...an impossible task. for me, deb, and chi. we just kept falling. and crashing. and spilling. it was so bad that at one point the lift operator, after having recognized us from our previous multiple spills, actually slowed the lifts down for us. which was a really nice thing to do. he also kept giving us advice on how to get off. and the sad thing is (there were lots of sad things about this) that i could SEE all three of us trying to follow his instructions and advice. and yet...we still fell. oh well. our spills weren't quite as bad as some other people's. ;D although we were awfully consistent in our falling. it was literally, EVERY SINGLE TIME. see, i know what you're thinking. "all three of you went on the lift at the same time?! and you kept falling every time? gee, i wonder why." but see, our thinking was that it was better to have one big spill and get it over with instead of three consecutive spills. i did try to go alone once. i still fell. and i think i actually flew off the lift once too. i just...didn't get off in time and actually went a little airborne. that was a little scary. but funny.

and now, i'm just sore. sooooore. sore. my legs, my arms, my neck, my wrists, and especially my right butt cheek. good god...
