remind me not to spend too much time alone in the kitchen with my mother. because then she starts up the "why don't you have a boyfriend?" conversation and that's never fun. why must you go there, mother? why?! i bet if i told her i was a lesbian, she would just say, "okay. so why don't you have a girlfriend?"
