crap!

man, i lost my water bottle. my beautiful, pink, perfect nalgene on-the-go bottle. that held the perfect amount of water (for me) and had the perfect spout.

what's worse is how i lost it. i left it on the roof of my car and drove off. yes, stupid. this is the first time i've ever done that. usually, it's mike or david that's doing that. BUT...my excuse is that i had just come out of the gym and was holding my gym bag and my purse and my water bottle so i put my bags down on the ground, put my water bottle on the roof (NOOOOOOO!!!), fished out my flip flops, and sat down in the driver's seat to change out of my sweaty sneakers (eww). and then, i threw my bags in the car, shut the door, and drove off. i managed to drive through the parking lot with it still on my roof but once i hit the brakes before leaving the lot, i watched as my nalgene bottle rolled down my windshield and hood and landed in the middle of fremont blvd. i helplessly got out of my car, looked at it, and decided a $9 water bottle wasn't worth my life. i think i made the right decision.

so then i went to rei to buy another one but - dammit!!! - they don't have them there any more! why? why, rei?!? i don't know where else they sell them, i've only ever seen them at rei. and i refuse to go back to my other inferior water bottles. so i just ordered it online and will have it delivered to the store so i don't have to pay shipping. just have to wait a week and a half for it. sigh.

i know that was a really boring, useless blog but, for some reason, i felt compelled to blog about this and i know i haven't blogged in a super long time so i guess this is better than nothing. actually, nothing probably would've been better. you wouldn't have wasted your time. maybe this'll motivate me to blog about other things. yeah...
