you know what? sod it all!! i think i'm just going to give up right now and just go ahead and write my memoirs: "confessions of a 19-year-old spinster." you know, sort of like "confessions of an ugly stepsister." that's an actual book, you know. anyway, i think it's a good idea.

and i really like how british people talk. the last three books i've read (getting over it, the making of minty malone, bridget jones: the edge of reason) have all revolved around young british women in london. i think i'm subconsciously attracted to books about young british women in london. hmm. anyway, i love their angry expressions. like "sod it" and "bugger" and "bollocks." and i love how they have so many different ways of saying "drunk"...sloshed, knackered, pissed.

anyway, should get started on those memoirs now. "confessions of a 19-year-old spinster. chapter one........."
