announcement: i have the coolest friends ever. ;D

and very forgiving ones too. :) well, i hope she forgave me! accidentally called jacq "chi." it was made worse by the fact that i was actually LOOKING at jacq and still called her chi. oh dear. sorry again, jacq!! i tried to get out of it by saying that "hey, you guys both go to ucla!" but that didn't work. and then i tried, "well, hey, 'chi' sounds like 'she' and...yeah..." but that didn't work either. i'm just plain stupid.

got some great presents tonight as usual!! jo made us personalized t-shirts. they're so funny!! mine says "crazy spinster" on the front and has like, a pair of cherries in the middle - one of which is smiling happily and one of which is snarling and cursing. hahaha. i love that. and i got the WEIRDEST gift like, ever from debra. and i don't mean just from debra. i mean, the weirdest gift EVER. it was an inflatable tulip. it's not that i don't appreciate it because i do! it's cool-looking!! it's just...odd. and completely random. [jo: (whispers) she's losing it!] and i got a kick-ass punky shirt and skirt from ha as well as pink underwear with cherries on it and a pair of "cute but psycho" socks. got a cute gray sweater with little balls all over it from jacq. from j. crew! [i walked in by accident while she was getting my gift. ;D] let's see...what else. ahh yes, a really pretty candle holder hangy thingy from sanjenmardi. i'm thinking furiously for a place to put it. cuz it goes perfectly with everything in my bedroom in san diego. so there are like twenty different places i can put it. i also got cranium and some chick lit books from them too. ;D it was marian keyes night. i gave a marian keyes book to deb (lucy sullivan is getting married) who gave one to me (rachel's holiday) and got another one from sanjenmardi (last chance saloon). and more undies from chi. ;D as well as a purse! you know, at the rate that i'm getting purses each birthday/christmas, i'm going to build like an enormous collection of purses by the time i graduate. i'll be a bag lady!!

you know, i still can't believe i called jacq chi. that was just embarrassing. and stupid. stupid stupid cherry. sigh.

still though, it was a fun fun night with lots of laughs as usual and mmm...food. i love my girlfriends. they are the BEST ever. ever ever ever. you won't find any finer girls. ;D
