what a weird day. but weird in a good way!!

so tomorrow is helen's 21st birthday so we're having a big ole party tonight. well...not really THAT big but still...a lot of people. if you want to hang out with lots of hot drunk chicks (most of whom are sorority girls), our house would be the place. ;D

and the neighbors' kids are SO CUTE. no, you don't understand, they are JUST THE CUTEST THINGS YOU HAVE EVER SEEN. me and mel went over to tell them about our party and while the boy (who's about 10 years old - he's always losing his soccer ball in our backyard) went to go get his mother, the little girl (who's like four years old) asked us if we wanted to buy anything for her fundraiser. and she was SO CUTE. so so sooo cute. my uterus just skipped like ten beats. eventually, she came over later and i bought a three pound bucket of cookie dough for ten dollars. and the mother was so funny and nice.

mel: um...one of our roommates is turning 21 tomorrow so we're having like, a little get-together...um...a gathering sort of...
mother: it's a party. you're having a party, aren't you?
me & mel: um...yeah.

and then later on, after i bought the three pound cookie dough, the boy walked the girl back to their house and he HELD HER HAND. it was so cute!! i didn't actually see it, but i could visualize it, and my uterus just went crazy. oh! and before that, when the little girl was in our house, she pointed to the magna-doodle that was on helen's door and was like, "i have a magna-doodle, too!!" AHHH!! SHE'S SO CUTE. you just have to see her and listen to her voice. so cute!!

and then after that, their whole family, the mother, the father, and their three children (the ten year old boy, the four year old girl, and a little baby!!) were at the house across the street from us talking to one of the neighbors across the street and me, sanaz, and mel gathered in the living room to just stare out the window at them. and we were seriously just staring and awwing every two seconds. we tried to pretend to just be watching bruce and his friend mow our weeds but it didn't really work because we kept staring even when bruce and his friend were out of our eyesight. i think the mother caught us staring. if they didn't think we were psychotic before, they do now. but the whole family is SO CUTE. the little girl started playing with the neighbors' dog. just throwing this little toy around and the dog was jumping up and catching it, and i swear, it was just the cutest thing i've ever seen. she was like rolling around on the lawn with the dog and like, trying to fake the dog out by pretending to throw the toy then not. you should've seen us. we all had like, these huge goofy grins on our faces and there was seriously an "awww!!" every two seconds. i think we must have been sitting on the couch staring at them for like fifteen minutes. sigh...

i know, i must be revolting some of you with my excessive use of the word cute, but i can't help it. it was just the cutest thing i'd ever seen. ;D

anyway, gonna go now. party tonight. yay!!
