la dee da... what've i been doing lately?

tuesday was the first day i drove around without anyone else in the car. just went around doing random errands and such.

wednesday... went shopping at valley fair with deb, david, tim, and mike. i drove us all! well, everyone except mike. debra was a little scared at first. it probably didn't help that once we were already on the freeway, i told her that that was the first time i had been on the freeway in the celica. hehehehe.... but we made it there all right. surprisingly, i bought very little. i don't know what was wrong with my keen shopaholic senses. all i bought was some underwear from victoria's secret. i think i was just more consumed with trying to find a gift for amanda's birthday. anyway, the drive back home after valley fair was a bit scarier. well, it really wasn't scary at all, it's just that, you know, i made a few mistakes here and there like turn into someone else's lane and almost miss a red light (if it hadn't been for deb and tim in the back saying, "red light. red light. RED LIGHT!!!!" i probably would have missed it). i don't know what happened. i think i just zoned out and totally didn't even see the traffic light. hahaha.... that's not good.

today... ran a few errands for my mother and then went to newpark (on my own!) and really hit my shopaholic groove. i bought a new pair of jeans (very snug fit), a white tank top (you always need white tank tops), a brown sweater jacket, a lacy black top (ooh, sexy), a new wallet, a wrist band, and amanda's gifts (which i was about to type out, but...yeah. not that i think she would even read this, but still...you never know).

then i went home for dinner and then it was straight back out again to go ice skating with the usual group - deb, jacq, david, mike, tim, and steven. it was pretty fun. i learned to skate backwards (albeit very veeerrrrry slowly). i also learned how to check. i checked mike into the boards a few times. at one point, i fell onto the ice - not because i was going too fast or because i tripped, but because mike and i were fighting and the stupid boy pushed me down. the funny thing is, tim and i were talking earlier about who would be the first one to fall in our group and tim said that it would either be mike or the nearest person to him. unfortunately, it was me. i kept crashing into the boards too. not because i couldn't control myself but because the stupid boys kept skating up to me and scaring me. bah!! yeah, it's funny seeing cherry shriek in fright and skate into the boards, isn't it?! pfft. and then, in the parking lot, i had a hand in breaking mike's watch. gah. i feel bad. first i scar tim, and now i break mike's watch. i'm just ruining these guys' lives. must learn not to be so violent. must channel ghandi (or is it gandhi?) and martin luther king jr. anyway, it was denny's afterwards. ate and chilled out for a bit and then it was time to go home.

and now, as you can see, i am home. think i'll go to bed soon because i'm getting tired.
