so...let's see what's been going on the past few days, shall we?

wednesday - aborn came back from his 2-year mission in australia. but we didn't get to see him until thursday when we all just hung out at jacq's place for a couple hours just catching up. that was really nice. :) he has like the slightest slightest bit of an accent which i might even just be imagining because i never heard him speak so much! ;D just kidding. it's nice to have him back again. but it's also kind of freaky because those two years just zipped right by.

yesterday - went up to berkeley for margaret's 21st birthday party. woohoo!! finally got to see mar drink. which was actually very anticlimactic because that girl can hold her drink. if i didn't know better, i'd say she was a regular drinker because she had like eight to twelve shots (several of them doubles!) and she was still fine. me...on the other hand... well, you know. i drank more than i usually do but i don't usually drink so that's not saying much. i think i had a double shot and then three regular shots interspersed with some daquiri, smirnoff, wine cooler, and coke & rum. enough to make me loopy. they made me do tongue twisters which, now that i think about it, is just cruel. it's hard enough to say some of them when you're sober, but when you're drunk, there's just no hope. we tried to play the naked game but i think there were just too many people (a lot of them drunk) so we didn't get past the first round. but several of the guys persisted and kept playing which was pretty funny.

oh!! the best part was getting to see my mission girls! not all of them, but still. made me very very happy. ;D got to see mar (of course), di, chris, and jen. ha and deb were there as well, but i see them often (especially deb) so that's nothing special. ;D but it was nice to have most of us together again. aww...it's making me all nostalgic now. we reminisced about some stupid mar stories. my favorite is still the underwear one. classic mar. ;D

oh... i just remembered something about a fake rose in my mouth.
