yesterday was a really good day. :)

i went to great america with deb, chi, ha, david, mike, and tim. for once, the girls outnumbered the boys. ;) the day basically consisted of unbearable heat, crazy sweating, roller coasters, pushing and shoving each other around, and over-priced food and drinks. but it was fun. ;D it was just...so...HOT though. it was gross. thank goodness for that spf 45. i triumphed over those damned UV rays and didn't burn. but we were all really sweaty and sticky and GROSS by the end of the day. the bottom of my feet were all black. it was disgusting.

so after spending pretty much the whole day at great america, we all went home to go take a shower. at least, the girls did. the guys got "held up" at david's house. ha and i defined "held up" as "gay sex." that shower felt so good though. cleanliness is such a glorious feeling. it was nice to feel my skin when it was smooth and not STICKY. blech. so anyway, after that, we all went back to deb's house for take-out chinese, walking the dog, and lots and lots of poker. david and debra taught us how to play heaven and hell, and queens. we played mostly heaven and hell, with a bit of queens and a bit of texas hold 'em. i rocked the first game of heaven and hell. boo-yah. the next game was sort of...enh... for me. i didn't exactly lose (not as badly as mike anyway ;)), but i wasn't exactly at my best. oh well. it was fun. ;D we finally all left around 240 am.

blah. i have less than a week left here. this sucks. i'm going to have to start packing again soon. although that shouldn't be too much of a problem since i sort of left the majority of my things packed when i came home. i just need to go through things and try to eliminate things i really don't need so that i won't be bringing so much crap back to san diego.

sigh. i want to stay here forever and ever and ever. and ever.
