home sweet home.

i have never been happier to be home in my life.

things i love about being home:
- the quietness. god, i love the quietness.
- being able to park in the garage and not have to slink out of my car because there's no space to get out.
- home-cooked food. yum.
- being able to sleep in because it's QUIET.
- no more loud washing machine/dryer.
- surprisingly warmer weather.
- alice! i miss alice. such good music. san diego radio stations suck. it's called variety! c'mon now.
- the cleanliness. that house was gross.
- did i mention how quiet it is?

although, there are a few problems with home. such as the achingly slow internet connection. it's very temperamental actually. i don't know what's wrong but error messages keep popping up about restarting the entire system whenever i'm online. which it does. obviously, very annoying. so far, i've been online for 32 minutes and nothing has happened. *knocks on wood* so i'm a little scared of blogging because i don't want the system to restart right in the middle of my blog. anyway, my mom asked me what i wanted as a graduation gift and i think i will ask for a faster internet connection. i mean, c'mon, we must be the last people on earth who have dial-up. i think i deserve it. we'll see if i can get cable too. don't wanna press my luck.

uh-oh. i just got an error message. crap. we'll see how much longer i can stay online.

anyway, speaking of graduating, i am now a ucsd alumna, class of 2004. woohoo. graduation was okay. quite long. i sort of dozed off just a liiiiittle bit during audrey geisel's (wife of dr. seuss) speech. she has such a lulling voice. left a little bit early. found my parents with minimal trouble. took a bunch of (ugly) pictures. my mom bought me a lei! very pretty. and deb gave me pink lilies! they're gorgeous. thank you, debra. :)

after graduation, we sped off to home and packed and loaded the rest of my stuff. took about an hour. then we ate lunch and finally left san diego around 130 pm. surprisingly, we got home a little before 9 pm. so it took a total of 7.5 hours. very fast, considering that we took a bit of a long break. but i am definitely glad to be home.

now, i just have to deal with all this STUFF. gotta clean my room and unpack. i am so intimidated.

so i think i will go eat something first.

ps: i heart home.
