mmm...good night, good night! actually cooked dinner and ate with all my roommates for the first time tonight. well, all of them except natasha. she went out earlier. but yeah, we cooked chicken and rice (i made the rice! okay okay, so it was with a rice cooker) and we made salad and fuzzy navel (it was like a concentrate thing - nonalcoholic, of course) and i made brownies and everything was gooooood. when some of the guys came over while we were eating (sandeep, matt, mike, and ben), they asked us what happened to natasha and we said we ate her. :) i actually helped with dinner tonight!! that makes me happy. i cooked the rice (so what if it was with the rice cooker), peeled some vegetables, and baked brownies. i had a little mishap with the first cucumber i was peeling though. i was peeling it over the trash with the vegetable peeler and all of a sudden it just slipped out of my hand and landed in the trash. i stood there staring at it for a little while then i burst out laughing. i can't believe i did that. slippery little bugger. no, i did not pick it up out of the trash. i got another cucumber. it was a little embarrasing though. oh well. whatever. dinner was good. :) ahhhh...i'm satisfied. :)

i'm really starting to like my linguistics class. i fell asleep for a little while, but that's nothing new. [sanaz is watching me blog right now. hi, sanaz!] the whole subject matter (the deaf culture) is really interesting and my professor is a pretty funny guy. he's a cute, old man. reminds me a little of the chem professor i had last fall quarter. he was a cute, old man too. so at the beginning of class, my ling prof was like, "so how many of you have seen actual signed conversations before?" and almost everyone in the class raised their hand. he was like, "wow...when i was your age, no one had even heard of sign language...i would walk for miles to get to school...dodging dinosaurs and everything."

mmm...i'm fuuuullll...happy full. *BUUUURP* ahhhhh..... if i was wearing jeans, i'd be unbuttoning the top button right now.
