aww...i feel so loved! everyone's missed my internet presence. [well, maybe not everyone. but, okay, people that matter. ;)] i love you aaaaall!!

so, i was in my eating disorders class this morning and this other professor comes in to talk to us about his research project. it had nothing to do with eating disorders but he needed subjects for his project so he came in to give us surveys and tell us about his project. basically, he's studying how marijuana smoking and alcohol drinking (though, primarily marijuana smoking) affects the brain. so he gave us all these surveys that ask us how often we smoke weed or drink alcohol. filling out my survey was pretty easy. it was just "never," "none," "0," "no." but, okay, here's the kicker: he's actually going to PAY subjects to come in and smoke marijuana. i kid you not. he pulled out a crisp $100 bill and said, "it's all about the benjamins!" which was pretty funny because he was pretty old. but he said it's all legal and that yeah, basically, you'd come in, smoke some pot while they stuck electrodes to your head and measured your brain waves then you'd get paid - in cash - and that's it! and as he finished his speech and ran out of the classroom, he told us all, "don't do drugs!"
