my room is missing something. ecstasy. no, not the drug, the painting. by maxfield parrish. one of my favorite paintings. have been looking on ebay but all the ectasy posters there are either too small or are of poor quality. and the regular poster sites (allwall.com, allposters.com) are way too expensive [$26 for a poster?? hell no.]. =/ so...no ecstasy for now.

studying's going...okay. developmental psychology midterm tomorrow, cognitive psychology midterm thursday, psychology and the law and eating disorders midterm next tuesday. hurrah.

i'm having a bad face day. i wish there was something i could wear to cover it. like, you know how you can wear hats for bad hair days? i wish i could wear something for bad face days. yes, i suppose i could wear a ski mask, but that's just...weird. oh well.

went shopping on friday with helen and melissa and checked out the new store at utc, hollister's. well, it's not that new, it was just new to me. bought a couple of really cute shirts on sale. went home and later that night found out that hollister's was affiliated with abercrombie & fitch. after thinking about it for quite a while (they really are very very cute shirts and they were on sale) and asking ha for advice (didn't tell me what to do, but just told me it was a personal decision i should make), i decided to return the shirts. well, haven't done it just yet, but will do it some time this week when i have time hopefully. see, it's not just the whole chinese shirts fiasco that bothers me, it's the thongs for 10-year-old girls that pisses me off too. girls should NOT be raised like that. it's almost verging on pedophilia; trying to make 10-year-old girls look/feel sexy. that's just disgusting. and don't even get me started on a&f's catalogues. if the models aren't wearing any clothes (like, AT ALL), then what the hell are they trying to advertise?? sex?! yeah, we get enough of that on the interenet with those irritating pop-up ads and junk e-mail. anyway. i'm just annoyed that i sort of got duped. yeah yeah, i know hollister's didn't like, hide the fact that they were affiliated with a&f, but still. oh well. i get my money back which i really shouldn't have spent in the first place.

okay, i should get back to studying now. read all about the labor process last night. makes me really want to adopt. 14 hours of contractions?? no thank you.
