okay, so jacq and i took a look at the scratch on the car last night and it wasn't as bad as i made it seem. it still is bad, just not that bad. whatever. i'm just glad it wasn't my fault. and i'm glad i didn't run over a dog and kill it like my cousin did. and i'm also glad that a crazy woman without her license didn't run into me like one did to jason. this month has just not been a good month for cars.
anyway, yesterday i went to amanda's pool party/bbq for her 19th birthday. i have known that girl since she was six years old. that makes me feel really, really old. her pool party was at her cousin's apartment complex in san jose which was just incredibly nice. they had an outdoor fireplace which was surrounded with these really nice chairs. deb, jacq, and i didn't stay long because we didn't swim. i didn't really feel like swimming, especially after i found out about the car. but it was nice to see amanda again. she had on a really cute bikini. ;)
so then after that, we went to david's house to figure out what to do. i have two new bruises on my right arm from, who else, mike. i'm just a big walking bruise now. sat around for a while until we were hungry so the girls went out to get vietnamese sandwiches. yum. why are the girls always the one who have to go out and get food and bring it back?? geez. lazy, video game playing boys. psh.
finally, we decided to go to someone's house and play board games. luckily, ha offered up her house and we all met her at verde, this new tea place in fremont. got to see chi!! i accidentally smacked her right boob when i tried to hug her. oops. then we all headed over to ha's house to play cranium. it was debdavidchi vs. hatimsteven vs. cherjacqmike. i think hatimsteven won the first game with us in second and we won the second game with hatimsteven in second. i spelled "delicious" wrong backwards. whatever. steven couldn't do an impression of jim carrey. that was sad.
anyway, after another fun-filled board game night, we all left around 1 am. the end.
