finally, the weather is getting colder. i usually don't like rain or cold weather but when it rained yesterday, it made me happy. probably because i was inside all warm and snuggled up. actually, it's not all that warm inside my house. i've already taken the space heater out of my closet and used it even though it's only 63 degrees outside. what can i say, i'm a spoiled californian. i need my warmth. i don't mind the rain though. as long as i'm inside, of course.

anyway, my weekend was pretty chill. i got my snowboard jacket from ae on friday! i was surprised because i ordered it online tuesday evening and standard shipping takes 3-10 days. so it arrived pretty early. i got an extra small and it fits perfectly. i may look a little stuffed up though once i add all the extra layers underneath it, but it should be fine. debra made me try on one of my bigger sweatshirts with the jacket and i could move around reasonably well. i loooove it! it's so pretty. and finally, i won't be forced to wear strange bright-colored jackets any more. of course, getting this jacket just makes me even more excited about our little snow trip in december. just hope i'll have pants and a snowboard by then too.

so that was the most exciting part of friday. later, in the afternoon, deb and david came over and we (the three of us and mike) all played x-men legends on xbox. we beat the game! we wound up playing the entire afternoon and evening. stupid boys. (okay fine, i admit it, it was kind of fun.) saturday was pretty chill too. in the evening, we went over to deb's house and watched day after tomorrow with deb and david and deb's brother and his girlfriend. it was an okay movie. after that, we watched the best of jimmy fallon on snl. that was pretty hilarious. my favorite was his impression of john mayer. hahaha. and the "flashback" of all his song parodies. the 80s one was the best. and, of course, the "cork soaker" sketch. so stupid, but so funny. aww, i'll miss him on weekend update. sunday... nothing. stayed home and did nothing.

and that was my weekend. nice and relaxing. and i love my new jacket.
