i accidentally drove without my license today. as a sign of god's disapproval, there was a police officer in the parking lot of walgreens when i got there. luckily, he didn't see my guilty face (he was quite busy reprimanding another driver) and i walked right on by. it's hard to remember my license because it's just a piece of paper and it was in my other purse.

ironically, when i came home, my actual driver's license had just arrived in the mail.
