hello, stranger.
i seem to mostly blog after the weekends. i don't know why that is. not like i do that much over the weekend.
on friday, went to watch blade trinity with mike, deb, and david. it was okay. ryan reynolds is hot. H-O-T. hot. obviously, could do without the facial hair, but even with it, he was quite yummy. during the movie, wesley snipes says something like, "kill you?! I'M gonna kill you, mothafucka!" and ALL the guys in the theater burst out laughing. deb and i looked at each other and rolled our eyes. stupid boys. well, okay, i laughed too, but it was only because i couldn't believe that all the men in the theater really found that line so hilarious.
anyway, afterwards, we went to denny's and then back to deb's for card games. just like last weekend, we played big two with points. and i won!! by positive 50 something. everyone else was mostly in the negatives until the very end. unlike last weekend, i never hit the negative. amazing. i think i learned from my mistakes last time. wow. i learned. finally left around 2 or something.
saturday, spent the whole day running errands. well, whole day isn't quite accurate since we didn't actually get up till around noon or so. the errands are just too boring to write out so i will spare you. i got so tired from being out that i just wanted to veg at home for the rest of the night. spent all of sunday vegging as well. vegging is fun and completely underrated.
today, i bought earmuffs from gap! they were the ONLY place that i could find (nice) earmuffs at. so, naturally, they were a bit expensive. and every time i went there, i only saw brown ones. what i was really looking for were white ones. but i really wanted earmuffs so i decided to just get them. but when i went there today, there were brown ones AND white ones! v. exciting. obviously, i got the white ones. v. happy with purchase.
and the snow trip is in a week! next monday, to be precise. there are still a few little things to worry about here and there (keys, chains, ski rack, food, etc. hmm. okay, so maybe not so little) but i'm still excited. after spending a good few months working this thing out with deb (and what a fun little migraine it's been), it'll be a good pay off.
