labor day weekend.

wow, so much to blog about. let's start with friday night...

the girls (jo, deb, ha, mar) and i decided to go clubbing in sf at loft 11. the club was pretty small with not much dancing space, but i really enjoyed it. it just felt nice to dress slutty and let loose on the dance floor with my girls. ;) the djs have to learn to not play the same music again though. and what would clubbing be without a really drunk girl? that proud distinction goes to our very own ha. but it was all good because i was starting to get tired and my feet were hurting anyway. i felt so old. anyway, stopped over at jason's place in emeryville to let ha sober up a little (very little) and then got back to fremont around 330 am or something. didn't get to bed till 4.

got up on saturday around noon and just bummed around until the evening. mike came over after work and brought me a little gift. he got me the garden state soundtrack! i had been looking for it but couldn't find it anywhere so he ordered it online for me and surprised me with it. aww. it's really good though. i like it. really good movie too, of course. anyway, around 8, people met up at my house and we were off to albertson's to buy some drinks. after loading up on booze, we headed over to jason's (another jason!) place in san jose. it only took me two shots to get drunk and spoon joanna. speaking of which, she has some good group pics of us up on her blog plus a very embarrassing one of me drunk. luckily, i was able to sleep off the sicky feeling and woke up a while later sober. others weren't so lucky. i spent about an hour in the bathroom with mike helping him. poor boy. i don't really remember what else happened that night. just saw lots of people and talked a lot. i tend to talk a lot (and apparently, a bit loudly) when i'm drunk. anyway, we finally got home around 4, i think.

all of sunday was pretty much spent at my house trying to help mike recover from the night before. nothing like a cruel hangover to make you curse alcohol to hell.

labor day itself was a pretty lazy day. got up late, went over to mike's place to play with chewie, their new dog, and had pho for lunch. later in the afternoon, went over to deb's place to play some games. loaded questions and the naked game. i don't remember the last time i played the naked game. it's been a while.

and that brings us to today. we're still in this horrific heat wave. reminds me a little of vegas, but definitely not as bad. still though. all i want to do is stay inside where it's air conditioned. i did go out briefly though to buy the alias season 3 dvd. woohoo!! this will keep me occupied for a week or two. also received aborn's wedding invitation in the mail today! very excited!

other random news... i've reformatted my hard drive because it had a virus. it took me forever though because i kept getting error messages whenever i just tried to do a system recovery. finally, i just gave up and decided to wipe out everything and start fresh. good thing my aunt's boyfriend had enough foresight to install a separate hard drive in this computer that's used specifically for all of my personal files. so i didn't lose anything important. just have to reinstall a bunch of random programs like winamp and kazaa and such. which shouldn't be too difficult now that we're getting dsl. yes, folks, my family has finally decided to crawl out of our pre-historic dial-up caves and join the 21st century. i actually haven't installed it yet because i was waiting for the activation date which is today. so as soon as i'm finished blogging, i will try to install the dsl. i imagine there will be many problems and i will end up extremely frustrated with the computer and the entire internet in general.

and with that said, i really have nothing else to blog about. so off i go to try out the dsl and test my patience!
