mmm...what a lovely day...absolutely gorgeous...is currently 74 degrees outside.

woke up around 10 this morning. bummed around for like an hour or so. then went outside to sunbathe and do some homework with sanaz for about an hour. then we decided to hit canyon view and go swimming. it's so sad...i swam like three fourths of a lap and just collapsed from exhaustion. good thing we were in the shallow end. but it's so sad! i have like no stamina! i wish i had fins though. that would've been fun. oh well. it was really relaxing just lolling around in our lane for a bit. saw a couple of cute guys at the pool. helloooooo... ;D then we hopped out and just lay on the deck to dry off and girl-talk. i still can't believe it's like the middle of january and we're hitting the beach, sunbathing, and swimming. ahhhh.... ;) HAHA to all you norcal people!! *points and laughs* oh okay, i don't want to lose like, ALL of my friends so i take that back.

anyway....the weather is here. wish you were beautiful. ;D going to go wash the chlorine off of me now. bye!

let me just say...the exorcist - the most BORING movie. well, not totally boring. just like 85.73% of it. it had its freaky/creepy moments, but nothing scream-out-loud scary. i was more scared by the link i posted in my last blog [THIS] than by the entire movie. but at least now i can say i've seen the movie. sheesh, i even started dozing off during a few parts. oh well. time for bed now.

uuuuuuggghhh....i can't believe i ate that much. ordered out from bj's tonight. and boy did i eat. i just sat there and i ate and ate and ate...no, i didn't die afterwards. ;) but i got really sick and had to go sit down on the toilet for a while. sorry. i'm feeling graphic today. after that, i had to undo my pants and lie down in bed for like an hour. i ate so much, i seriously felt like my stomach would just explode. ahhhh...good food though.

oh man...you guys HAVE to see this. got this from mary's blog. mary is one of jo's blogging heroes. ;D and i have to say, i totally agree with jo; mary is one totally cool, super funny chica. anyway, totally didn't expect her to have THIS posted up. i don't know why, i just didn't expect it. anyway (yeah, i just said anyway twice), i don't want to give anything away but....well...let's just say....i'm still shaking. and it caused one of my roommates to run into my room because, well, i'll tell you later. AFTER, you go see THIS. just stare at the blue thing in the back until you get it. it's fun!! ;D

you know what? i've had a horrible week. absolutely hideous. bad hair, no sleep, aunt flo...thank goodness it was only the first week of the quarter so there wasn't much work to do. but still...despite the hellish week, at least it ended on a good note. it was super warm today! felt more like may than january. so of course we had to hit the beach! me, mel, sanaz, and grace walked to blacks beach aaaaall the way down the steep, windy road and just chilled for a while. me and grace made a snow-boy. it started out with her making a dome-shaped tunnel. and then i made it into a butt...and well, it just progressed from there. we carved out some arms and a couple of legs and i put a realistic touch to it by adding some poop coming out of the butt (hey, it was either poop or a really tiny dick). then we named him ben. ;) he came by later and hung out for a little bit. sanaz had a little incident in the pacific ocean. eeew...anyway, we left soon after and walked AAAALLLL the way back up the steep steep STEEP hill. luckily, ben parked his car at the top, so we didn't have to walk back to campus. ooh, the walk to was really cool though. it was my first time walking to blacks beach and i got to see all the rich, beautiful houses. what i loved about them the best was that none of them looked exactly like the other. you know, like fremont. =/ there was this brick house that i really liked. it was my favorite. :)

anyway...it was a good afternoon at least. i'm starving though. i was ready to eat sand. i'm gonna go look for food now. bye!

OH! i forgot to mention...there were lots of surfers around blacks beach today...some were cute, some were eh. i think my standards have like lowered or something because i kept saying "mmm....7!" and grace and melissa would look at me and say, "what?! eew...no, he's a 4!!" oh well. they weren't totally hideous looking or anything. comfortable eye-candy. i don't know why i decided to use the adjective "comfortable" but that sounds right to me, so whatever. :)

anyway, food now!

i look like absolute shit. you know why? insomnia.

and you know what else? i've just about had it. no more ms. nice cherry. NO. MORE. i'm not going to be my usual wussy self anymore. i'd rather be perceived as an anal bitch than sit by and let people walk all over me. sheesh, i sound like a freaking drama queen, but i'm not, i promise. it's just a combination of insomnia and the rag.

insomnia + the rag = an edgy, wound up, bitchy, shitty-looking cherry.

this is bad.

i am SO BORED. plus, i have cramps. it's not painful actually, just really annoying because it's a dull pain that won't go away. oh, and did i mention that I AM BORED OUT OF MY SKULL?!?! the only homework i could do is read italian, but...it's only a few pages and i have till friday and i don't really feel like doing it now anyway. i'm bored i'm bored i'm bored. bored. me. BORED.

hey guess what. i got pictures back. i have some really hilarious ones of my girls playing guesstures. the ones of mar and di are especially funny. ;) i don't remember like a lot of what they were trying to do, but one of the pictures definitely looks like mar's trying to do the tango with herself or an invisible partner. ;D

yay! i just got my gap hat! it's really thick... and the ball on top is like HUGE! but i like the color. probably won't be using it any time soon though seeing as how the weather here is so absolutely gorgeous. makes me happy. :) this is exactly the kind of weather i want on my wedding day - sunny, warm, and slightly breezy. i actually had to switch from my sweater and boots to my sleeveless turtleneck and flip flops cuz it got so warm. ahhhh...love the lovely la jolla weather. ;)

oh yes, and the sleeping pill i took last night (unisom) worked okay. instead of tossing and turning for four hours, i only tossed and turned for like an hour and slept the rest of the night. i think i will take another one tonight.

anyway, off to psycholinguistics i go. then vietnamese. two more classes, but that's okay because the weather is so beautiful. ;D

oh oh!! i almost forgot! i went by the co-op to drop off my film and went into the co-op to see if wendy was working. didn't see her in the store, so i left and then ran into her outside!!! ahhh!! hadn't seen wendy ALL YEAR!! was nice to see her again. ;D

just got back from class. want to pass out. uuugh...

well, class was semi-embarrassing. both vietnamese and italian. in vietnamese, the prof made us tell her what we did over break in vietnamese. i gave her a response of like, six words ("i go home. i eat food.") and after my painfully choppy and awful vietnamese, she immediately says, "hmm...you know, this quarter, we need to practice speaking vietnamese more." uuurrrr...

then, in italian, everything was going great. totally understood everything speed-italian-speaker/professor was saying. spoke a little italian and even said something semi-witty ("i don't know how to cook but i know how to shop!") but towards the end, i just couldn't take it. by then, i had been up for 24 hours. so i started nodding off toward the end of class, and all of a sudden, i woke up with a start. i think i woke myself up actually. how did i wake myself up? by making a funny noise that i think everyone near me could hear. i think i said something like, "HMMM!!!" i'm not quite sure if i made the noise though...i MIGHT have... you know what? knowing me, i probably did. oh well.

i'm going to go pass out (whoops, typed "ass out" at first) now. but i'm hungry. okay. food then coma. bye.

what a horrendous night. i am officially an insomniac. i did not sleep AT ALL for the ENTIRE night. and today is the first day of class. i should've asked for sleeping pills for christmas.

in other news, i have rediscovered the wonderfully bitter and totally cool music of alanis morisette as well as the sappy but also totally cool tv show lois & clark: the new adventures of superman. in case you were wondering, that's what comes on tnt at five in the morning - lois & clark. i miss that show. still remember the episode when clark proposed to lois in the rain and she said, "who's asking...clark kent or superman?" makes me go "ahhhh!!!!" like a little teenybopper. ;D

mmm...this week's gonna be nice and warm. yes, i am thawing out very nicely after a month of freezing cold norcal weather.

hmm...for lack of anything better to do, i think i'll blog. so here's what i did today:

1. woke up.
2. decided not to take shower and allow grease to develop in hair throughout the day.
3. started decorating the big blank wall in the living room. actually, all the walls are big and blank. i just decorated the most conspicuously big and blank one. yeah...
4. welcomed tasha and neha back.
5. hung out at mel's apartment. welcomed grace and helen back.
6. played with helen's new mice: oreo and ash. watched them bumble about the room in their matching hamster balls. watched oreo run out the room, into the hallway, and into the bathroom in his little ball. watched ash repeatedly bash into walls, computers, chairs, the tv, shelves, shoes, people, etc.
7. ate pizza while watching someone like you with mel.
8. watched mel konk out in the middle of someone like you. kept asking her if she was falling asleep. she kept mumbling no then went back to snoring. [it's nothing against the movie, she ALWAYS falls asleep during movies. any movie. took her three tries to watch emma before she finally saw the whole thing.]
9. stopped someone like you. melissa woke up. talked with her for a long while. missed mel lots. and everyone else too, of course. ;)
10. returned to apartment. blah-ed around. watched alias.
11. blogged.

mmm...hugh jackman looks so good on the cover of GQ. there's even a picture of him inside wearing very wet clothes...must remember to scan in later. but too tired now...will try to go to bed early. alone in apartment though. kind of scary. but that's okay. love having entire place to myself.
