stick a fork in me, i am done.

with finals, with this quarter, with packing. i will be heading to the airport soon. just waiting for helen to come home and give me a ride.

oh yes, today is special because it is ha's birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HA! it is unbelievable that i have known you for fourteen years. and it is sad how long it took me to do the math in my head (okay, so i gave up after thinking about it for five minutes and just asked melissa). FOURTEEN years. damn. that's like... a high schooler. it's almost a decade and a half. it's two years away from being a legal driver. okay, so actually, fourteen is a very unspecial number. except for the fact that it is how long i have known you for. i can't believe i grew up with you and still managed to come out okay. heehee. ;D anyway, enough rambling. hope you have an awesome 22nd year. you deserve it. :)

all right, time to finish a few small things here and there and i'm off to the airport! goodbye, san diego. see you in a week.

one final down, one paper down, one final to go.

so, naturally, i am here procrastinating. i can't believe i'm going home tomorrow. can't wait. spring break, here i come! just...gotta, you know, finish this final tomorrow first. blah. anyway, since it seems as if i've done something everyday to procrastinate on this blog, i decided that today i would present the musical soundtrack of my life (that is, if my life were, in fact, a movie. which, clearly, it would never be since my life is so damn boring, but humor me here, okay?).

of course, credit goes to leah who got it from her friend's diary. you know, it's funny that the last three days, i've discovered some new form of procrastination through leah even though i haven't talked to her in like, a couple days. clearly, she is a bad influence. although, i admit, she actually did this a while ago and, strangely enough (haha), i am just choosing to do this now. anyway. here it is.

it's finals week and i have no motivation. bad combination.

i've been trying to write my paper for my 199 for the past hour and all i can come up with so far is my name, the date, and one sentence - a poorly written one at that. all i can say is that thesaurus.com is my friend. hi thesaurus.com, i love you. hahaha...reminds me of the friends episode where joey wrote a letter of recommendation to the adoption agency for chandler and monica and in order make his letter sound smarter, he replaced every single word in the letter with a "big" word using his thesaurus. ahhh...hilarious. although, you know you watch friends too much when random events of your life remind you of a friends episode and you turn to whoever is with you at the moment and go, "you know, this reminds of the time in that friends episode when..."

so last night, i was trying to help rae write her essay on the gettysburg address. four years of college education and all i could come up with was that freedom is good and slavery is bad. anyway, leah couldn't help her either. only thing she could come up with is BADGERS. badger badger badger badger badger...mushroom... SNAKE! and then some random link exchanging occured. the best was the milk and cereal. ah, yes. now berkeley has something else to be proud of besides william hung. hahaha...so amusing.

okay. back to my paper. or not. hmm. maybe i should go over some notes? oh c'mon, i think i can at least write a LITTLE more. yes. i will try to write a little more. right. okay then. here i go.

today is helen's birthday. happy birthday helen!

she probably won't even see this since she doesn't read my blog, but still. one of the best roommates ever. :)

yesterday, melissa and i went to costco. when we were in the car to go back home, mel somehow got her hand stuck in the seatbelt trying to get it on. it was hilarious, her hand really was stuck in that thing. she thought that she could hide it from me and just keep trying to get undone until she finally realized she couldn't get free and started to panic slightly. and then she told me. and then i laughed. really hard.

okay, time to study now. because i did absolutely nothing yesterday. and while i don't think my finals will be that difficult (*knock on wood*), i really should at least try to make some effort.
