back in san diego.
okay, first of all, it is so much warmer down here. after being bundled up but still freezing for the past five days, it is so nice to be able to run around in just a t-shirt and flip flops (and pants, of course).
the trip back was not so nice though. i was supposed to take a flight from san jose to la and then la to san diego, but the san jose to la flight got delayed twice to the point where there was no way i would have made the connecting flight in time so they put me on a direct flight to san diego but THAT flight got delayed three times and...it was just horrible.
anyway, i'm back now. and i've suddenly realized that i only have five days until my first final. crap. to make matters worse, the lab manager for my 199 just e-mailed us to tell us that we have to write a three to five page paper about our experiences with the project so far, due this saturday. there are a couple of things i am pissed off about: 1) she totally sprung this on us. yeah, she apologized, but that doesn't make it any less nasty. i love the fact that she springs this on us RIGHT before finals. great going, bitch, and 2) the project has been going so slowly that there's virtually nothing to talk about. i am afraid my powers of bullshit are rusty and will not be enough for this.
that e-mail totally ruined my day. god.
but...in brighter news (just not bright enough to make me hate her any less), i got the
ALIAS season two dvd set and
pirates of the caribbean dvd. ooh, makes me so giddy. the alias box is so pretty. must watch dvds now. no! must resist temptation... argh.
oh yeah, thanksgiving break was good. had fun with my girls. still haven't unpacked yet.
