yesterday was spent hanging out at david's and mike's houses. played outlaw volleyball and had some major roughhousing going on. of course, jacq, deb, and i emerged victorious and kicked tim and mike's puny asses. although, when i was putting lotion on my left arm this morning, it felt kind of bruise-y. whatever. baby hits. ;D and then i ended up revealing the inner nerd in me later in the night. this closet trekkie has come out. sort of.

today, we went to the fremont arts & wine festival. i knew we probably wouldn't buy anything (and we didn't), but it's nice just to go. it's like tradition. i've been going every year since elementary school. pretty damn hot though. and then on our way back, we decided to be spontaneous and go paddle boating at lake elizabeth. deb and david were in one boat, and me, tim, and jacq were in another. tim and i started off paddling but my skirt kept riding up and i got tired really quickly so i let jacq paddle for the rest of the time. ;D

ahh....good times, good times. i feel like debra when i say that. i don't really know why though. does she say that? hmm...

anyway, i'm starving now. off to go eat some dead, cooked chicken. ;D

"queer eye for the straight guy" is like the best new show this summer. it's so hilarious. and let me say, the straight guy has to be quite secure in his sexuality to let five gay guys just totally make over his entire life. they did such a good job too! they gave him and his apartment a makeover and even taught him how to cook!! and i love how the gay guys all think they're on a mission. after they made over the straight guy, they were like, "one straight guy down, three hundred million to go!" it all reminds me of the time on will & grace when will and jack made over barry. but, of course, on queer eye, they're not trying to turn the straight guy gay.

unfortunately, it seems that all these straight guys they're making over have girlfriends. bah... ooh, the straight guy on next week's episode looks really hot too. these gay guys are goooood....

i cut someone off today. i don't care. bastard. ten million other people cut me off; at least i had the decency to signal.

i am freaking out. i haven't done any work for my western civ class. well, except for the work that i did last summer which wasn't much. and i really REALLY need to pass this class because it's one of my last GEs and i'm going to be graduating soon (which also produces a whole new level of freaking out). and, oh yes, i only have about ten days to do all this work. so i am freaking out. i thought i'd take a short break from freaking out to tell everyone that i'm freaking out. so now i'm going to back to freaking out. bye.

oh yeah, i forgot to blog that on saturday, while waiting in line for a ride, david pulled out mike's long nose hair with two of his credit cards. it was gross. but really really funny.
