so i'm sitting here wearing a tank top, blue sweatpants, a pair of socks, and a pair of shiny four-inch stiletto heels. all that's missing is a can of beer and a trailer.

okay, parents said that news said that the earthquake a few minutes ago came from berkeley. 4.1. dang. could feel it all the way in fremont. that's crazy.

right after that last blog, i went downstairs but fell down the top three stairs (again). my left foot just slipped out from under me and i landed on my ass three steps down. my tumble made a big noise and i heard my mother in the kitchen say to my father in vietnamese, "ohmygod!! what was that?!" my father comes rushing out and sees me on the top landing gingerly standing up and rubbing my sore butt. i get down to the kitchen to reassure my mother that i am fine and i just fell down the stairs and she has this half amused, half sympathetic expression on her face.

oh shit, just felt another earthquake. much smaller than last time, but also much longer. geez....

i'm driving myself crazy with sappy songs.

i have no self-restraint; i went shopping today. before i could stop my brain, it had already calculated how much i spent today and my heart nearly stopped. well, okay, it wasn't THAT much, but it was more than i had expected to spend. oh well. i got killer shoes. no, really, they could probably kill you. three or four inch stilettos. hmm... i'll need to break those in.

well this blog was pointless.

so, i didn't sleep very well last night.

i had JUST gotten into bed at 230 am when all of a sudden, there's an earthquake. it was small and brief, but it still managed to freak me out. i have no idea why. so i scurry back online where ha has to calm me down (after freaking me out even more). i finally got my heartrate back to normal after about half an hour and went back to bed. but around 430 am, something REALLY freaky happened. my bedroom door opened very very slowly. i couldn't see much without my glasses or contacts so i put my glasses on, and there was NO ONE STANDING THERE. my bedroom door had just opened up all by itself. in the slow, creepy, scary movie kind of way. i thought, "well maybe one of my parents opened it to check up on me and just forgot to close it" so i got up to close the door and stuck my head out and there was just no one there. i don't think either of my parents were even up. *cue the creepy psycho music*

yeah...sleeping was a little hard after that little incident. i woke up a little before noon and got up maybe half an hour later. i'm still tired. good thing i'm still in summer.

hey, like the new colors? my eyes got bored of the old ones.

debra just gave a good recap of what's been going on the past few days in her xanga. so now i'm too lazy to blog about it.

but i will.

so it was a pretty good weekend. just spent it hanging out with people. nice and relaxing and fun. :) thursday night - debra came over and spent the night. i think it's funny that my parents don't question it. they never ask why debra's spending the night at a house that's only four houses down from hers. oh well. so we watched the vma's but once mike came over, we ended up brawling again. this is how my face ended up in debra's bosom (see previous post). "it seems, of course, that whenever we get bored, we like to wrestle. yes, we are a physical bunch. mike claims to have beat us, but cherry and i know we were the victorious ones. "i love boys. boys are stupid." ;D" yeah, what deb said. ;)

friday - after a long night of hot lesbian sex, debra and i got up around 9 am. went to great mall for a bit and then dropped sophia off at the airport. i feel like i'm just paraphrasing debra's xanga. oh well. then it was off to edgie's to play pool with tim, mike, and steven. as usual, i sucked. except for the last game when i sunk in our last ball and then the 8 ball. blind luck. that's all i have to say. team terry wins! hahahaha... debra and mike wore matching outfits. it was amusing. then we had dinner at round table and then later it was back to my house to watch lord of the rings. although i don't remember actually watching most of the movie. i think we were just chatting most of the time. but it was fun. :)

saturday - did nothing. at least, nothing that's worth blogging about it. in fact, i don't even remember what i did during the day. but during the evening, i drove myself and chi over to steven's place to play board games with him, deb, tim, mike, and david. learned to play clue and won the first game i played. ;D we played another round, then it was where in the world is carmen sandiego. maaan....that game goes on FOREVER. we finally just let deb win to end the damn thing. (yes yes, she would've won anyway, whatever.) the questions were kind of tough. but not too bad. just not the most thrilling board game ever. oh yeah, that was the first time i'd ever driven on the freeway at night. i'd driven during dusk before, but that was the first time when it was just total darkness (well, except for the streetlights of course). it was fine. chi survived. it's like some rite of passage or something - to survive as a passenger in my car. ;D

sunday - another board game night. at deb's house, this time. played clue again. sucked at both rounds. i eliminated two of the three answers both times. then it was scattergories. david always wins with his weird answers. some of them were funny though. tim put "locutus" for villain. NERD!! and then for things that grow, he put "goodness." hahahaha... ooh, for things that you replace, jacq put "lover." hahahahaha... i liked that one. ;) after that, we played blackjack and texas hold 'em (a type of poker). we bet with debra's huge collection of quarters. i won big in the first round of texas hold 'em but it was all downhill after that. oh well. we finally left deb's house around 4 am. just spent the rest of the time chatting and playing the states game. ;)

today - again, more of nothing during the day. around 4 or something, met up with deb, david, tim, mike, and joe at cloverleaf for bowling. did okay the first game (had to play catch-up so it was just like, continuous bowling for me for a while), kicked ass the second game, but totally lost it all in the third game. at least i didn't do as bad as mike who never broke a hundred. ;D debra apparently got some glee out of beating mike every time too. ;) she has a printout of the scores!! anyway, afterwards, we all went to great mall for food and some shopping. and then it was back home. i think this was the first time i drove on the freeway by myself. in the dark. but i survived, obviously. see, i'm not such a bad driver. well...actually, on the way to great mall, i almost missed another red light. heh. i seem to do this only when tim is in the car. oh well, we all survived. it's all good.

oh yeah, and mike left his pants in my car. tsk tsk... ;)
