oh, duh.

i am an idiot. in my last post, i wrote "hmm...can't really remember what happened between my last blog and new year's." i completely forgot that it was my birthday in between (oh, and christmas. but, you know, same thing). hurrah for me. i am 22. what a weird age. how sad. 19 and everything after 21 just sounds funny. oh well.

last night, i had a tvgasm. new episode of lost and new fucking season of alias with a TWO HOUR premiere. yeah, man. loved it. so...many...questions...

and, lately, i've been eating yogurt. i hate yogurt. it tastes bitter and funny. i have a vague idea of the way yogurt is produced and i don't quite like that idea. seeing the label "with active yogurt cultures" on the side kind of worries me. but i'm eating it. because it's good for me. yuck.

oh, and i read that ashlee simpson was apparently booed after her performance at the halftime show for the orange bowl. i would feel sorry for her, but i watched a clip of her performance and MY GOD it was bad. it was just...bad. my vocabulary is too poor to accurately describe just how BAD it was. i kept thinking it was a bad dream or some kind of weird joke. i KNOW i can sing better than that. and that's saying something because i am a crap-ass singer. maybe she shoulda done a hoe-down.

2005. weird.

hmm...can't really remember what happened between my last blog and new year's. went to get my hair highlighted with deb last week. i was originally going to cut it but after experiencing a good hair day, i decided that i just couldn't part with my longer hair and so i got highlights instead. we'll see how much longer i keep this hair though. did some good post-christmas shopping as well. i got two new pairs of jeans from aeropostale and two new hoodies from ae. also got a case for my ipod. i love my ipod. and i love its case. la la la... skip to new year's eve.

so we all spent new year's eve at mike's house while his mother is away on vacation. it was me, mike, deb, david, jacq, bobby, ha, yeung, paggy, and kevin. and then there were mike's brother's friends who outnumbered us. so there were quite a lot of people. and quite a lot of drinks. had one shot right before new year's and several small shots right after new year's and that was enough to get me nicely drunk. yes, i am a cheap drunk, but so what. i was happy. the others played karaoke revolution but i couldn't because i couldn't read. honestly.

i sobered up after a while but unfortunately, mike and thuy (his brother) did not. not only did they have quite a few shots at their house but then they decided to go next door for more. and that was what did them in. tequila. bad. they wound up throwing up in the kitchen sink next to one another almost at the same time. it was hard holding mike up so deb helped me out a lot. basically, spent the rest of the night taking care of him. and i'll just leave out the rest of the unsavory details. took him the whole next day to recover. see? tequila. bad. dinner at denny's was so very satisfactory. GREASE. YUM. of course, i didn't mind taking care of him at all. 'tis a girlfriend's job, no? so that was basically new year's. i had fun. glad that we could party at mike's house. surprised that nothing got broken. will post up pictures soon.

last night, went over to mike's house again to watch house of flying daggers in his movie room. it's an okay movie. couldn't help noticing zhang ziyi's teeth though. did she have them fixed or were those fake? i don't know why i noticed that. played some karaoke revolution beforehand too. deb and david got it on xbox. my first song was, appropriately enough, like a virgin. ;D had some fun for a bit. wish they had the darkness song though. that was funny.

anyway, i'm finally home now after being out for basically the entire weekend and then some. it's 2005. weird.
