i just bought love actually today.

i went straight to target after class. i watched it when i came home and it made me smile (and laugh and cry and laugh some more). sigh. it's the best movie ever. (after amelie.)

it's still really hot. but i loooove it. i get to wear all my new slutty summer clothes. woohoo!

so i'd say it's been a pretty good weekend.

saturday, i went to the beach with melissa and sunbathed for about three or four hours. it was a PERFECT day - sunny but with a slight breeze. and i got to wear my new bikini! cute moment of the day - seeing a bride and groom taking pictures on the beach. the groom even borrowed a surfer's surfboard and they posed with it. unfortunately, all that sun turned us red. well, melissa more than me. the only spots that burned were spots that i missed with the sunblock - along my thighs and my lower stomach. so it's not that bad. but aloe vera has become our best friend. (sorry, debra) i don't think i got that much more tan though. damn. hopefully, i'm at least less white. my legs won't blind people. at night, me, mel, and sanaz went out to tgi friday's for drinks and dinner. nice and fun.

today, i did nothing. should've started reading, but i didn't. well, i didn't do nothing either. i made my car happy by filling it up with gas and washing it. and uh... hmm. i think that's all i did. i don't know why the day seemed more productive. maybe i should do some reading now. ehh... right.

anyway, it was a nice weekend. warm and relaxing. makes for a boring blog, but whatever.
