five times.

that is the grand total of times that i threw up last night/this morning at jo's party in davis.

it was the tequila. had to be. that was the first time i had taken a tequila shot too. well...it was either the tequila or the rum. perhaps both. in any case, i felt pretty damn miserable afterwards. apparently, the retching noises i was making in the bathroom didn't make anyone else feel any better either.

but that was the only bad part. jo's party rocked. had an awesome time drinking and dancing with my girls. and travis and dale (hahaha, i typed davis and trale at first) - who i kept calling "guinness" for some reason. 'twas mucho fun. i haven't had that much fun in a very very long time. nor have i been that drunk in a very very long time. hmm...i can't really remember what else i did, but i'm sure it will come up on other people's blogs and xangas. there's a horrible picture of me on my camera slumped over on the couch with steven's shirt covering me. that was pretty much how i felt towards the end of the night and the rest of the morning. you would think that after the third time of throwing up, one would feel better and have nothing left to throw up. but i learned that that's just not true. there's always something more to throw up.

anyway, finally i felt better after the fifth time, and napped for a little longer. got up and went out to eat lunch. walked around in the uncomfortable davis heat. although, it wasn't as hot as it could be for davis. but i was wearing dark jeans, so that didn't help. the heat made me feel very lethargic though. well, that and the frequently interrupted sleep due to multiple vomiting incidents. but eating and walking around did make me feel much better. finally headed back home a little before 4 pm, only to hit massive traffic. aaaaargh. what the hell was everyone doing on 80 east in the middle of the afternoon on a sunday?! grrrrr. but it's okay. made it home in one piece. kinda.

but despite the horrible vomiting and whatnot, i had a really good time in davis. thank you, jo and happy graduation to you. ;D
